Job Title: Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neonatal unit, you will provide high-quality patient care, lead and manage a team of nurses, and contribute to the development of our unit.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established neonatal unit, providing care to pre-term and vulnerable babies. You will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients, supervising junior staff, and contributing to the development of our unit. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  2. Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and supervision.
  3. Contribute to the development of our unit, including the implementation of new policies and procedures.
  4. Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care to our patients.

Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse who has:

Relevant clinical experience of working in a neonatal unit at band five.Excellent leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Ability to provide high-quality patient care.What We Offer
