About the Role

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for setting up, structuring, and supporting the growth of an industry consortium to promote the CHERI security technology. You will work closely with leading companies worldwide to build more secure products and grow with the structure of the initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration:
    • Organize and maintain repositories of documents and information
    • Manage suppliers and subcontractors such as accountants and subscriptions
    • Assist with membership administration, including maintaining contact lists and organizing meetings
    • Manage wider activities supporting the day-to-day operations of CHERI Alliance, e.g., invoices, documentation
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate tasks, resources, track dependencies, and deadlines
    • Support projects by helping ensure stakeholders remain engaged and informed throughout project life cycles
  • Marketing Support:
    • Provide assistance with campaigns and marketing communications
    • Support web administration and content management
    • Engage in social media management and monitor industry trends
  • Community Engagement:
    • Support the management of a network of ambassadors and foster positive relationships with members
    • Disseminate information and act as a point of contact for inquiries and requests, escalating complex enquiries as required
    • Support the creation and management of current established and future communication channels

Requirements

  • Some experience managing successful technical projects
  • Efficient and comfortable with common office, communication, and project management tools, e.g., MS Office / Google suite, Jira, Trello, Asana, Primavera
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - Pro-active, practical/hands-on, learn by doing style, e.g., experience from setting up own business or within an early-stage start-up
  • Technical background, allowing you to be comfortable in having informed discussions with electronics, software, or IT companies and professionals
  • Experience supporting communities or organizations, including promotion and marketing activities
  • The ability to collect and organize data efficiently, using adequate tools (including AI)
  • The ability to build contacts and work across multi-cultural and international environments, with a diversity of stakeholders
  • A willingness to develop your technical understanding of the CHERI Alliance and its wider ecosystem and grow within the organization
