Job Summary:

  • To deliver high-quality care to residents in a person-centered way, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life.

  • To contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on care to residents, supporting them with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their well-being.
  • Contribute to the daily records of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, undertaking tasks delegated to you efficiently and effectively.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment, preferably in a residential or nursing setting.
  • Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practice, including the care of older people.
  • Ability to work in a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
