About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our Children's Residential Services team. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people who have experienced significant trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, promoting a sense of community and belonging among our service users.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of activities and programs that promote social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the residential service, including shift work and on-call duties.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or a related field (e.g., NVQ 4 or QCF diploma in working with children and young people in residential care).
  • Experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma or have complex needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shift work and on-call duties.
  • Valid UK driving license (desirable).
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
