Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our premium country pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for running a section, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Section Management: Run a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and that the team is working efficiently.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to the required standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Team Management: Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience in our pub.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Chef Qualifications: A relevant chef qualification, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in culinary arts.

  • Skills: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
