About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Account Handler to join our dynamic team at Howden Insurance Brokers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new business opportunities in the motor trade insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate leads to drive new business growth
  • Liaise with Account Executives to develop effective strategies for winning new business
  • Conduct market research to identify competitive terms and conditions
  • Ensure premium collection and adherence to procedures
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation on Acturis
  • Produce high-quality documentation using Howden templates
  • Cross-sell products from other divisions
  • Refer complex queries to senior staff
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market
  • Cert CII
  • Excellent technical insurance skills, with ability to process work efficiently and accurately
  • Strong client service and negotiation skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze information from clients
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
