About the Position

Cambridge City Council is seeking a skilled project manager to join our Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing new build development schemes from pre-contract through to construction phase and beyond. Your expertise will help us achieve our ambitious target of developing 2,400 homes over the next 5 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience in development, surveying, or project management and a passion for housing development. They will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £46,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple development schemes simultaneously, ensuring cost, quality, and programme are met.
  • Support the council's strategic asset management plan by identifying suitable assets for investment and regeneration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
