Job Title: Facilities and Site Manager

Ceres is a leading developer of clean energy technology, electrolysis for the creation of green hydrogen and fuel cells for power generation. Our solid oxide platform technology supports greater electrification of our energy systems and produces green hydrogen at high efficiencies as a route to decarbonise emissions-intensive industries such as steelmaking, cement, and future fuels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Horsham site, leading the facilities team and taking ownership of business-critical facilities, ensuring infrastructure, utilities, and facilities are provided reliably and safely to Manufacturing operations at site.
  • Support the delivery of new plant infrastructure and execute CAPEX support plans to deadlines and budgets to ensure minimum disruption when installing new equipment.
  • Ensure all compliance for ISO9001, 140001 and regulatory requirements are met and maintained, as well as develop cost reduction and efficiency improvement plans for all building services including energy saving initiatives.
  • Manage the contractors for repairs, maintenance, and production support, ensuring service level agreements match the performance required within KPI's.
Requirements:
  • Maintain facilities at the Horsham site within budget and operational metrics.
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
  • Develop cost reduction and efficiency improvement plans for all building services including energy saving initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of new plant infrastructure for manufacturing scale-up, changes in layout of manufacturing infrastructure, and execute CAPEX support plans to deadlines and budgets to ensure minimum disruption when installing new equipment.
  • Line management of facilities technicians including workload allocation, target setting, training, and development.
  • Manage all site-related matters and issues of legal compliance for the site.
  • Manage and instruct contractors for repairs, maintenance, and production support. Ensure contractors' service level agreements match performance required for the business and maintain KPI's for key contract services.
  • Develop and maintain a TPM system for all key services.
  • Manage the security of all sites as well as all outsourced services.
  • Be flexible to ensure out of hours are supported and managed effectively.
Desirable Skills:
  • Fault finding analytical and root cause analysis.
  • Ideally Electrical and Mechanical understanding.
  • Experience of working with HVAC, BMS, clean room environments.
  • Ideally IoSHH trained, NEBOSH or similar.
