Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Vendor Relations Manager to join our Professional Services client in London on a permanent basis, with a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 per annum.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire vendor lifecycle from initial relationships to performance evaluation. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, conducting compliance and risk assessments, performing audits and evaluations, and negotiating contracts and agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships and develop strategic partnerships
  • Conduct regular vendor compliance and risk assessments to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Perform thorough vendor audits and evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure best value for the company

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need over 5 years' experience in IT Vendor Management, with a proven track record of working with large IT Suppliers. You should also have knowledge of software and hardware compliance processes, as well as experience working with global vendors and associated international regulations. Additionally, you will need experience using various Vendor Management Systems, strong negotiation skills, and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office per week and some travel over the course of the year.
