About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Sales Associate at Meridian Building Plastics Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers on the trade counter and over the phone to provide excellent customer service.
  • Take orders and pick products from the warehouse.
  • Load company vehicles safely and accurately.
  • Unload and check deliveries, and put stock away in the correct areas.
  • Drive company vehicles to undertake customer deliveries and collect stock from suppliers.
  • Operate a forklift and maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Meet targets and work within time frames, being flexible in your approach to work.
  • Perform some office administration tasks.
Requirements
  • A full clean driver's license held for a minimum of 2 years, and preferably be 25 or over for insurance purposes.
  • Knowledge or experience of working in a similar environment.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Ideally be educated to GCSE Level 5 in English and Mathematics.
  • Preferably have your own transport.
  • Have good work ethics and be flexible.
