We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team in the Enfield branch. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop a career in customer service, account management, and B2B sales.

As a Branch Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling sales inquiries, processing orders, and supporting the branch manager in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences, maintaining strong relationships with customers and supply partners.
  • Work effectively with key strategic vendors and customers to promote growth and development of strong key partnerships.
  • Support achieving and delivering Branch KPIs to identify new ways to innovate and drive growth.
  • Receive and process weekly stock deliveries, ensuring goods are stored in the correct warehouse location.
  • Handle customer returns and follow our returns procedure to achieve customer credits and necessary administration work.
  • Respond to inbound calls, seeking opportunities to increase customer requests and quotations using sales tools.
  • Make outbound calls to proactively seek new opportunities, offer alternatives, and utilize promotions to increase customer returns.
  • Serve on the Trade Counter, supporting customers with pick, pack, and serve processes.
  • Manage and respond to customer queries on tenders, quotations, and technical queries, passing on to relevant departments when necessary.
  • Manage outbound deliveries, pick, pack, and create relevant courier paperwork.

Requirements:

  • High School/College Diploma.
  • Prior sales/customer service experience, preferably in a trades or wholesale environment, but retail experience will be considered favorably.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Positive attitude.

  • Ability to work on the phone with customers, providing advice, and looking for sales or upselling opportunities.
