Our ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and experience teaching in Year 2 / Key Stage 1.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class Teacher to cover a Year 2 class in Halesowen, starting from January and lasting until July.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, collaborating with the team, assessing student progress, creating a positive learning environment, fostering relationships, upholding school values, and contributing to the wider school community.

  • Deliver High-Quality Teaching: Provide engaging lessons for Year 2 students.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work with the Year 2 teaching team to plan inclusive lessons.
  • Assess Student Progress: Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and record observations in line with school policies.
  • Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a stimulating learning environment that supports each child's development.
  • Foster Relationships: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
  • Uphold School Values: Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the Wider School Community: Participate in meetings, events, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status: QTS/ECT required.
  • Experience: Experience teaching in Year 2 / Key Stage 1 essential.
  • Curriculum Understanding: Solid understanding of the curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Differentiated Lessons: Ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that cater to diverse student needs.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £41,000 per annum, depending on experience.
