Autism Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Touchbase Fife in Kirkcaldy. This is a permanent part-time position offering 30 hours per week.
The successful candidate must have a full UK manual driving licence, as this role involves driving duties.
About the RoleThis Support Practitioner will work closely with adults who require additional support needs, including complex needs and communication and sensory challenges. Our services cater to individuals with various requirements, such as learning disabilities, visual impairments, autism, epilepsy, physical disability, cerebral palsy, and ADHD.
The role involves providing individualised packages of support tailored to each person's social and therapeutic needs. Staff receive training to deliver support in a person-centred way, focusing on increasing independence, communication skills, and learning new skills.
Our activities include therapeutic sessions in our activity rooms and opportunities to access the local community for leisure activities, such as swimming, cycling, art, dance, and music groups, social clubs, and day trips.
Requirements- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology)
- Experience working with adults with additional support needs
- Ability to drive and possess a valid UK manual driving licence
