Conservation Officer Position

This seasonal ranger role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conservation and community engagement. You will be working closely with our experienced team to deliver vital conservation work and promote public awareness of the importance of protecting Scotland's wildlife.
Main Duties- Promote site safety and enforce rules among visitors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Deliver high-quality guided walks and public events, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve.
- Participate in practical conservation tasks, contributing to the long-term health and biodiversity of the reserve.
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have a passion for conservation and community engagement. Relevant qualifications or experience in wildlife management or related fields would be beneficial.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000, depending on your level of experience. In addition to competitive compensation, you will also receive benefits such as professional development opportunities and involvement in exciting conservation projects.
