We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. This is a challenging role that requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating sustainable change.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sustainable contaminated land solutions in various sectors, including property, industrial, data centres, energy, and transport.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting phase 1 environmental site assessments, which involve carrying out site visits and preparing factual and interpretative reports.
  • Planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations, which may include scoping site investigations, drafting proposals and tenders, assessing and interpreting soil and groundwater analytical data, conducting environmental risk assessments, and writing interpretative reports.
  • Contributing to remediation option appraisals, remediation strategies, and verification reports, as well as providing a remediation oversight role.
  • Managing a range of projects with supervision, taking responsibility for project delivery or part delivery, and providing guidance and training to less experienced colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An appropriate degree in environmental and geological sciences or a related environmental discipline, with a master's degree in an environmental discipline being advantageous.
  • Previous experience in planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations, as well as prior experience in project management and delivery of due diligence projects.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, as well as competent and efficient report writing skills.
  • A full clean driving license and experience with IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
