Support Artist for Arts Practitioner

We are seeking a part-time support artist to assist a disabled dance and theatre practitioner. The successful candidate will have a varied role, supporting daily tasks and artistic practice.
The ideal candidate will be open-minded, level-headed, and willing to problem-solve. They should have an interest in working artistically together and be able to contribute to improving the practitioner's work and life.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a qualified dance theatre director and choreographer who has a varied career in theatre and dance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing breakfast
- Helping with hygiene
- Assisting with putting on clothes
- Reminding to take medication
- Tidying surroundings at home
- Checking correspondences and taking appropriate action
- Meal prep
- Going on walks
- Facilitating calls
- Ensuring accessibility to assistive devices
- Planning meals and ordering groceries
- Heating up dinner
- Support with paying bills, managing finances, and accessing bank accounts
- Support for artistic practice
Requirements:
- Open-minded
- Keen to contribute structures that can improve Niall's work and life
- Interest in working artistically together if an opportunity arises
- Level-headed
- Willing to discuss and problem-solve together with Niall and the team
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
