Job Description

We are seeking a part-time care assistant to support a disabled dance practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a varied role, assisting with daily tasks and supporting artistic practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing breakfast for the practitioner
  • Helping with personal hygiene and dressing
  • Reminding the practitioner to take medication
  • Tidying the home environment
  • Assisting with correspondence and taking action as needed
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Accompanying the practitioner on walks
  • Facilitating phone calls and ensuring accessibility to assistive devices
Artistic Support
  • Supporting the practitioner's artistic practice
  • Assisting with grant applications and networking opportunities
  • Researching potential projects and collaborations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be open-minded, level-headed, and willing to problem-solve. They should have an interest in working artistically together and be able to contribute to improving the practitioner's work and life.

Estimated Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year
