Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our long-term Client is seeking an experienced Assistant QS to work in the South Coast area. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in this role or be studying part-time and in their 3rd year upwards looking for their first role. Additionally, they should be able to demonstrate a high level of achievement working remotely. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or take their next step in their QS Career within a growing Principal Contractor in the Re-Cladding Sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of delivery of assigned contracts to budget.
- Liaise with surveyor / senior surveyor to ensure delivery of budget and financial information.
- Management and monitoring of assigned project plan, associated budget, costs, and contract terms, with surveyor / senior surveyor as appropriate.
- Liaison with surveyor / senior surveyor and senior project manager.
- Liaison with financial controller, procurement manager, and estimator.
- Valuation of works and collation of associated documentation for inclusion in CVR, cash flow forecast, and sales forecast.
- Monitor and manage sub-contractor orders, approvals, and payments.
- Ensure Project Probe is updated with relevant information.
