Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transformational Mental Health Coach to join our team at Shaw Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mentoring to young people with entrenched views about themselves and their futures, enabling them to make positive steps forward.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of The Change Project across East London Boroughs. The role involves working closely with a range of stakeholders, including young people, employers, and members of the Spark Change team.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality mentoring to young people, utilizing cognitive behavioural approaches to support positive change
* Develop effective relationships with stakeholders, including young people, employers, and Spark Change team members
* Contribute to the achievement of project objectives, working collaboratively as part of a team

Requirements

* Diploma in cognitive mentoring or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience of applying cognitive behavioural approaches with young people
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

* Competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* 25 days annual leave per year, with incremental increases post 3 years' service up to 28 days, and option to purchase additional holiday
