Our specialist independent school is seeking an experienced teacher to teach secondary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will have relevant experience of classroom teaching and working with children who have ASD.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing a highly personalised curriculum to meet the needs of each student. This will involve working closely with colleagues to contribute positively to the overall programme of learning for each student.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging and holistic learning experiences that promote self-confidence, independence, and resilience
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  3. Contribute to the development of innovative curriculum approaches
  4. Focus on pupil outcomes and pupil progression
  5. Participate in learning outside the classroom
  6. Safeguard all children at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
