We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our thriving SEN school in Maidstone.

About the School

Our school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students with SEN to thrive.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with SEN, a basic knowledge of SEN strategies, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and contribute to progress reviews.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Support pupils emotionally alongside their studies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with SEN, a basic knowledge of SEN strategies, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £90-£100 per day, depending on experience.
