Recycling Educator

The Recruitment Co is seeking a highly motivated Recycling Educator to join our client's Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team in Weston-Super-Mare. As a Recycling Educator, you will be responsible for delivering small to medium behavioural change projects, education, and awareness campaigns across the locality, and supporting the environmental development of operational services in the Company.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs to promote recycling and waste reduction practices among local communities.
- Collaborate with the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team to design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and events.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in waste management and recycling practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community groups, schools, and businesses.
- Provide support and guidance to operational services in the Company to improve their environmental performance.
- Passion for environmental issues and commitment to sustainability.
- Demonstrable experience in an educational, environmental, or communications-based role, with a proven track record of influencing outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation delivery.
- Negotiation skills and ability to persuade a wide range of audiences to change their behaviours.
- Aptitude for research, data collection, and action planning.
- Experience of producing and analysing reports using MS Excel.
