We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recycling Educator to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Weston-Super-Mare. As a Recycling Educator, you will play a key role in delivering small to medium behavioural change projects, education, and awareness campaigns across the North Somerset area.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective recycling education programs for various audiences, including schools, community groups, and businesses.
- Collaborate with our client, a well-established company in Weston-Super-Mare, to provide recycling solutions and support the environmental development of operational services.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform recycling education strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training sessions to promote recycling best practices.
- Build relationships with local stakeholders, including schools, community groups, and businesses, to promote recycling initiatives and encourage participation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recycling education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Passion for environmental issues and a strong commitment to recycling and sustainability.
- Demonstrable experience in an educational, environmental, or communications-based role, with a proven track record of influencing outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation delivery and negotiation.
- Aptitude for research, data collection, and action planning.
- Experience with MS Excel and ability to produce and analyze reports.
