Taught Support for Student with Autism

In partnership with a supportive primary school in Haringey, SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a qualified teaching assistant to provide tailored support to a student with Autism in Year 3. This role requires a dedicated and caring professional who is passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on students' lives.

The selected candidate will work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to develop personalized learning plans that cater to the student's unique needs and abilities. They will provide one-to-one support, encouraging the student to stay engaged and motivated throughout lessons.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with experience working with students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will possess a calm, patient demeanor and a deep understanding of Autism and its associated challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized learning plans for the student.
  2. Provide one-to-one support, enhancing the student's engagement and motivation.
  3. Cultivate a supportive learning environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
