Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PET-CT and CT Radiographer to join our imaging team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, adhering to legislative and hospital policies & procedures.
  • Rotate between departments as required, prioritizing patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
  • Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  • Assist with training of new staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Comply with legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety, in particular Radiation Protection and Infection Control.
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies, ensuring quality assurance of equipment.
  • Implement corrective action where necessary, maintaining a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
Requirements
  • BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid HCPC registration (if you are a Radiographer) or RCT registration (if you are a Technologist).
  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in CT and PET-CT.
