Support Specialist for Diverse Learning Needs

Austin Fraser is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support students with special educational needs in our inclusive school environment. This role involves assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities, providing one-on-one or small group support, and helping manage classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
