Job Description
We're looking for a Clinical Development Nurse to lead, support and continuously improve clinical governance and quality of care for our residents. This opportunity will oversee nursing homes in Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire - Brackley, Chipping Norton, Kettering and Northampton.
This role would suit an individual with practice nursing experience as strong and up-to-date clinical practice is essential. As an RGN, you will have extensive experience of residents/patient care and be extremely confident in managing chronic diseases (diabetes or asthma) & wound dressings.
In this role, you'll review and support the performance of every home in your region to ensure its performing to the highest clinical standards. Every month, you'll review the clinical governance database and our KPIs and analyse the results. You will then identify practical strategies to make sure we're meeting each and every regulation and improving the care we deliver, too.
You will work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home to achieve our goals. Whether you're organising new training, helping attract key senior clinical staff, or delivering clinical investigations, your leadership skills and passion for delivering the best will shine through.
To join us, you'll need to be equipped with a current NMC registration, RN (General) and evidence of continued professional development. An experienced nurse, you've worked in a care home environment, and as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly-qualified nurses. You also have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements. Combining a sharp analytical mind with the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on your action plans, your leadership will deliver impressive results.
