We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Acute Pain team at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and developing our pain management services.
About the Role:- Provide specialist advice and support to patients, relatives, and carers on pain management and treatment options.
- Develop and implement pain management protocols and guidelines to ensure best practice.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic pain.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on pain management and assessment.
- Registered Nurse with a post-registration qualification in pain management or a related field.
- Experience in acute pain management and treatment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of pain management guidelines and protocols.
