Job Title: Clinical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinician to join our highly valued team at Esland.

The successful candidate will work therapeutically with our children, basing support on where they are functioning emotionally, developmentally and in accordance with their lived experiences.

About the Role:
  • Providing specialist direct and indirect therapeutic assessment and intervention for children and adolescents
  • Using a PACE informed approach to provide clinical consultations and training to our therapeutic care staff
  • Completing therapeutic reports, clinical formulations and therapeutic care plans for the children we care for
  • Working as part of a MDT and within a Team around the Child framework
About Our Schools:

As part of the clinical team, you will seek to provide needs, risk, and strengths-based assessments for young people in crisis. Your role will include:

  • Having knowledge of safeguarding and risk in relation to working with children and young people
  • Providing consultation to residential care staff underpinned by a "brain-based", trauma informed approach
  • Working therapeutically with children using a range of approaches dependent on what matches their needs and capacity to tolerate the work
  • Making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice
  • Providing training for residential care staff and other professionals within the organisation
What We Are Looking For:
  • At least 2 years relevant experience post qualification
  • Registration with HCPC or equivalent governing body
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly making complex information meaningful
  • Demonstrable experience is supporting children in SEND, SEMH and/or LAC settings
