Role Overview

Esland is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinician to join our highly valued team. As a Regional Clinician, you will work therapeutically with our children, providing specialist direct and indirect therapeutic assessment and intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs, risk, and strengths-based assessments for young people in crisis.
  • Provide specialist direct and indirect therapeutic assessment and intervention for children and adolescents.
  • Use a PACE informed approach to provide clinical consultations and training to our therapeutic care staff.
  • Complete therapeutic reports, clinical formulations, and therapeutic care plans for the children we care for.
  • Work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and within a Team around the Child framework.
  • Support residential carers to build and connect with their key children from an attachment perspective.
  • Have knowledge of safeguarding and risk in relation to working with children and young people.
  • Provide consultation to residential care staff underpinned by a "brain-based", trauma-informed approach.
  • Work therapeutically with children using a range of approaches dependent on what matches their needs and capacity to tolerate the work.
  • Make autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
  • Provide training for residential care staff and other professionals within the organisation.
Essential Requirements
  • At least 2 years relevant experience post qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent governing body.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly making complex information meaningful.
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting children in SEND, SEMH, and/or LAC settings.
  • Motivation and commitment to your role, with a genuine passion and caring attitude for children who have experienced trauma.
  • A full, UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
