About Us

Mater Ecclesiae is a growing Catholic Multi Academy Trust in Preston, Lancashire. We consist of nine primary schools and one secondary school, with plans to expand to seventeen schools by the end of this year.

Our vision for schools across the Diocese of Lancaster focuses on developing an outstanding Catholic schools singing programme that celebrates and enhances students' talents. This strategy will be underpinned by our Trust values of Compassion, Confidence, and Community.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Choral Director to lead high-quality weekly choral singing sessions in schools. The successful candidate will conduct choirs, shape the ministry of music throughout the Trust, and help deliver our new Catholic singing programme. This includes in-class singing sessions and establishing after-school choirs as part of the National Schools Singing Programme.

Safeguarding Commitment

We prioritize safeguarding and promoting children's welfare, expecting all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and undergo enhanced DBS checks. The appointed candidate will work under CES contract terms, which they will be required to sign.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £45,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
