About the Role

We are seeking a strategic leader to head our Information Development Team. As Information Development Manager, you will lead the development, delivery and promotion of digital and information services across Cultural Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and coordinating policies, strategies and guidelines for Cultural Services
  • Providing effective leadership and motivation to the Information Development Team

This is a permanent post based at County Hall, Preston, with a flexible working arrangement offering a blend of office-based and remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering high-quality digital and information services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree in a relevant subject and an NVQ level 3 management qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in managing customer-facing digital and information services
  • Excellent communication, customer care and negotiation skills
  • A strong understanding of national issues relating to digital and information services
