Hard Services Contract Assistant Role

As a Hard Services Contract Assistant at Kent County Council, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Hard FM services. This involves Budget Monitoring, where you will track our operational variable budget and alert managers as limits approach. You will also be responsible for Purchase Orders, raising and tracking orders for approved Hard FM quotes, and ensuring timely service provision and payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor internal response times for quote reviews and approvals, ensuring work meets agreed SLAs.
  • Ensure tasks not covered under the maintenance threshold are promptly approved and within budget.
  • Act as the main contact for all Hard FM queries, delivering excellent service and maintaining professional behaviour.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve current practices and foster an environment for innovation.
