Job Title: CDM Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced and qualified CDM Surveyor to join our repairs team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. As a key player, you will conduct building inspections, diagnose issues, and devise repair solutions for customer property problems, particularly damp, condensation, and disrepair issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough building inspections to identify potential issues and develop repair solutions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and contractors to ensure repairs adhere to regulations and mitigate liability from legal claims.
  • Compile work schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Provide expert witness testimony and support in court proceedings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Extensive building surveying experience, particularly in disrepair and related legislation.
  • Relevant chartered professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or similar) (desirable).
  • Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations and experience liaising with legal teams.
  • Strong project management and budget control skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
