Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CDM/Disrepair Surveyor to join our team at Bromford, a leading housing association dedicated to providing quality, affordable homes for those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough building inspections to diagnose issues and devise repair solutions for customer property problems, particularly damp, condensation, and disrepair issues.
- Serve as an expert witness and coordinate with legal teams and contractors to mitigate liability from legal claims.
- Compile work schedules and ensure repairs adhere to regulations, enhancing property safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective property maintenance strategies.
Requirements:
- Extensive building surveying experience, especially in disrepair and related legislation.
- Proficiency in housing health and safety regulations and experience liaising with legal teams.
- Strong project management and budget control skills.
- A collaborative team spirit and excellent communication abilities.
