About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at ARC (Norwich) Limited in Cambridge. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities and ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer contracts, including drafting and reviewing contract documents, negotiating terms, and resolving disputes.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize project profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
- Provide expert advice on procurement-related matters, including tendering and contract management.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of construction law and contracts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with project management software and systems.
