Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team on a flexible, remote basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering training and mentoring to apprentices and learners across the region.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • sufficient occupational competency and work experience in a leadership role within Health and Social Care;
  • an assessing qualification (e.g., D32/33, A1, TAQA, CAVA);
  • experience of delivering training or mentoring in your current role;
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • managing a caseload of 40 apprentices and AEB learners across the region;
  • delivering a range of Health and Social Care qualifications up to Level 5;
  • tailoring the learning experience to meet individual needs;
  • using an e-portfolio system to manage the learner journey;
  • linking training needs to industry and sector norms;
  • ensuring excellent organisation and planning skills to meet deadlines;
  • travelling to visit learners and work locations when required;
  • having flexibility and willingness to vary and change work schedule as needed.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role will be between £25,000 and £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an additional £160 bonus for each learner referred. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:
