Senior Student Retention Officer

At GBS Global Applied Knowledge, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Student Retention Officer to join our team. As a key member of our student success team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the retention and progress of our students.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Retention Managers to monitor the progress of students and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and retention.
  • Provide support and guidance to students who are at risk of not progressing.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and retention rates.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a higher education setting, preferably in a student support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
