Job Title: Ward Manager - Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

Appoint Healthcare is proud to partner with a leading national provider of health and social care services for males with mental health needs and learning disabilities. We are seeking a Ward Manager - Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) for their male high dependency mental health hospital in Portsmouth.

Job Summary

As a qualified Ward Manager / Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to younger males in a high dependency mental health hospital. Your expertise will be invaluable in promoting positive teamwork and ensuring the delivery of community-focused rehabilitation services within a full care pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to younger males in a high dependency mental health hospital.
  2. Develop and implement care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  4. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain high standards of care.
  5. Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members.
Requirements
  1. A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  2. A valid NMC registration with no restrictions.
  3. Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  4. A minimum of two years of mental health / acute / PICU / forensic / low - high secure / NHS or private experience.
  5. Strong team-working skills.
  6. A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
  7. A positive attitude and a naturally caring and compassionate demeanor.
  8. A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
