About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ward Manager to lead our team at Nelson House, a modern and spacious 28-bedded Rehabilitation and Recovery mental health unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and coordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment.

As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for managing the running of the wards, including staffing, rota management, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation, and quality standards. You will also be required to participate in the on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team and manage the running of the wards
  • Plan, oversee, and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment
  • Manage staffing, rota management, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation, and quality standards
  • Participate in the on-call rota
