About the Role

The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant position will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs. You will work closely with both verbal and non-verbal autistic learners, helping them achieve their full potential in a specialist setting.

This role offers a competitive salary up to £115 per day DOE, allowing you to take your career to the next level while making a meaningful contribution to the education sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies to support students' diverse needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters students' emotional and social growth.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist setting or equivalent experience in care or support work.
  • Desirable: experience working with autistic learners (verbal and non-verbal).
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a strong desire to support and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation: A competitive daily rate up to £115 depending on experience.
