As a leading logistics provider, we strive for excellence in transportation services. We're now looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join our team.

This role involves close collaboration with the Planning Team to ensure efficient operations. You'll receive thorough training on both routes to identify and resolve potential issues. Strong communication skills are crucial, especially for handling telephone calls related to reload bookings.

To be successful, you'll need a Transport Managers CPC and a background in transportation. A minimum of 4 years' experience is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are vital in this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with customer processes for exports
  • Managing the team and email communication with senior planners
  • Supporting senior planners with driver and subcontractor contact
  • Delivering plans and communicating relevant issues to stakeholders
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Assisting planners with drivers' hours and timesheet management
  • Promoting the business through client contact
  • Reporting directly to the Vice CEO
