Care Team Leader Role

As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care. Your professionalism, kindness, and compassion will be at the core of everything you do.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know our residents and their families, helping to ensure that truly personalised care is delivered.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will have a positive influence on the team and be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care. One of your key responsibilities will be to maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with effective communication with your fellow colleagues.
You will assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, providing essential physical and mental care as part of Runwood's whole-team approach to wellbeing. You will also administer medication and carry out medication audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.
- Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
- Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with effective communication.
- Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing essential physical and mental care.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Experience in leading a team to deliver care.
