Spire Healthcare is seeking a Bank Hotel Services Assistant to join their team.

This role will cover host duties and is ideal for those looking for flexible working patterns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in close liaison with clinical staff to understand the special needs of the hospital on a day-to-day basis.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of equipment, checking for faults and supply shortages, and reporting them to the line manager.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH.
  • Work with guidance on moving and handling, as identified in corporate and local policy and discussed at Mandatory training sessions.
  • Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Deliver meals and beverages to patients' rooms using previous waitressing/waiting experience.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from patients to ensure a comfortable stay.
  • Assist the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties.

Requirements:

  • A customer service-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in hospitality.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Willing and able to complete mandatory training for COSSH, Manual Handling, Infection Control, and Health & Safety in-house.

Working Hours: 0-37.5
