About the Role

At Rolls-Royce plc, we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Non-Destructive Testing Engineer. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your skills in NDT methods, including X-rays, ultrasonics, eddy currents, magnetic particle inspection, and fluorescent penetrant inspection. As part of our apprenticeship programme, you'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, working with expert mentors and developing your problem-solving skills.

Job Description

In this role, you'll be responsible for selecting optimal NDT methods, conducting tests on parts, and participating in practical experiments, project planning, resource control, and quality assessment techniques. You'll also have the opportunity to complete various placements across the business, giving you practical experience in different NDT methods. Furthermore, you'll study for a BEng (Hons) NDT Degree at the University of Northampton, focusing on the Maths, Electronics, and Physics behind NDT methods.
