Job Description
The National Composites Centre is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join its team. This role will involve working on large-scale programmes of work, focusing on delivering fresh innovations in composite technologies across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and excellent problem-solving skills.

The National Composites Centre is a leading research centre for composites technology. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of composites in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and energy. We work closely with industry partners to develop new manufacturing processes and materials that improve product performance and reduce costs.

Responsibilities
* Design and develop manufacturing processes and equipment for composite materials* Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for process improvements and implement changes* Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations* Develop and maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures* Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field* 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methods* Excellent communication and teamwork skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
