About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Materials Inspector to join our team. As an Advanced Materials Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing various materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials science and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our manufacturing engineers to develop and implement inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test various materials using X-rays, ultrasonics, eddy currents, magnetic particle inspection, and fluorescent penetrant inspection
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure effective implementation of inspection results
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspection activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in materials inspection
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year
