An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Heanor.

We are seeking someone who is committed to providing high-quality support to children with special educational needs and has a strong track record of achieving positive outcomes. As a SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance
  • Supporting the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery
  • Developing and implementing effective learning strategies to meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils

You can expect:
