Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our team at Hollr. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for directing your account teams to deliver exceptional results. This will involve taking a strategic approach to your work, seeking out opportunities for growth and development, and advising clients with well-judged ideas and concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Services
- Demonstrate excellent relationships with clients and be seen as a trusted advisor.
- Consistently go above and beyond for clients, liaising with colleagues across the Group to deliver client success.
- Develop an excellent understanding of clients' organisations, industries, economic levers, and business needs, reflecting this in client counsel.
- Account Direction
- Empower your account team to run the account smoothly, leading by example by delivering high-quality work and being across all the detail.
- Direct the team where needed to ensure activity is complete to high standards, playing an active role in upskilling junior colleagues.
- Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring all relevant processes are in place, and projects are completed smoothly.
- Exceed delivery and client expectations by maximising all available resources.
- Ensure accounts are run according to agreed goals and priorities within budget, working confidently with other agency teams and external client partners.
- Media
- Demonstrate an impressive understanding of the media landscape and secure coverage in business and financial outlets.
- Lead on campaign launches, effectively working with the team to manage bids and handle media efficiently.
- Showcase an aptitude for developing campaign/story angles, bringing them to life with supporting packages/assets.
- Consume media avidly and share insightful information with colleagues, leading junior team members by example.
- New Business
- Take an active role in identifying new business opportunities for prospects and growth opportunities in existing clients.
- Develop and utilise your network to facilitate new business conversations, leading on developing proposals.
- Be proactive in identifying marketing/thought-leadership opportunities to promote Hollr's offering externally for new business.
- Commercial Acumen
- Be responsible for reporting revenue and Gross Profit for your accounts, demonstrating strong financial awareness.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients and Hollr to ensure profitability, monitoring resourcing levels and making constructive suggestions.
- Ensure all accounts are maintained within budget and time constraints, being proactive in solving any problems.
- Written and Verbal Communication
- Showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills across all outputs, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Draft messaging documents, narratives, broadcast advisories, briefing documents, coverage reports, and other materials as needed.
- Excel in presentation skills, confidently creating PowerPoint and Word presentations and proposals that sell strategy and creative.
- Digital
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the digital environment and its impact on traditional PR practices.
- Plan, integrate, and execute online PR activities within clients' digital and traditional PR plans, ensuring the team is upskilled on digital innovation.
