About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Administration Assistant to join our team at the Physiotherapy Department at Andover War Memorial Hospital.

The successful candidate will provide administration support to the outpatient services for MSK Physiotherapy, ensuring an efficient service to all patients and staff. Key responsibilities include booking appointments, checking patients in, scanning documents, handling post and telephone calls, and providing excellent customer service.

This role is the main reception for MSK, Orthopaedic Choice, and other clinics held for different services within Southern Health.

Main Duties

  • Provide first point of contact for clients on the telephone and/or attending clinics, dealing with written and telephone enquiries on behalf of the Therapists.
  • Undertake general admin support, including scanning and opening of post that arrives on site.
  • Book hospital appointments for patients attending Outpatient Clinics using Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and the e-Referral IT service.
  • Provide management information to report reasons for appointment delays and clinic cancellations.
  • Ensure the highest standard of data quality input at all times to capture accurate information that enables strategic analysis of the overall activity of the Trust.
